  • The goal of our podcast is to help educate our community (Schaumburg, IL) and the surrounding Chicago suburbs on how to use exercise to create abundant health.
  • At Muscle Activation Schaumburg, we believe your health is your most valuable asset.  Your health is the only thing that can improve both the quantity and quality of time that you have.  A lot of people feel that time is their most valuable asset, but if you have ever interacted with somebody who has a lot of time but little health, you will know this is not true.  There are many aspects of health, and, at Muscle Activation Schaumburg, our expertise is exercise.  Exercise has been proven time and again to improve your overall health, increasing both the quantity and quality of time that you have.  But here’s the thing, the appropriateness of the exercise directly relates to the effectiveness of it.  And this is where the magic of personal training and Muscle Activation Techniques® at Muscle Activation Schuamburg lives.  By combining advanced assessment and training techniques with an in-depth understanding of the many systems within your body that exercise affects, we are able to create a completley customized exercise experience for your body’s needs and abilities.  Our attention to detail during every moment of your session ensures that you are able to exercise for life, forever protecting your most valuable asset.
  • We chose the name Exercise Is Health because we want to convey the idea that in order to have health, you have to exercise.  It is not optional.  While we often think of exercise as being healthy, this idea conveys more of a singular act, such as eating a healthy meal or getting a good night’s sleep.  And while singular acts of being healthy are important, we have to understand that in order for these acts to create a state of abundant health, they have to be done repeatedly and consistently over time.  With that in mind, we chose to title our podcast Exercise Is Health because we believe that not only is exercising mandatory if you want to create abundant health, but it must be done consistenly for your entire life.
  • This podcast will be released on a weekly basis and synced directly to the iTunes podcast store as well as the Google Play store (we are still waiting on approval from the Google Play store before it goes live there).  Make sure to subscribe on each of these respective platforms so you can automatically recieve our newest episodes each week!
  • The projected format of the Exercise Is Health podcast is to have a different type of discussion each week.  One week will have an exercise-based discussion.  Another week we will discuss some aspect of Muscle Activation Techniques® (MAT®) – what it is, why it is important, how to understand and describe MAT® in simple terms, etc.
  • Another episode each month will be dedicated to interviewing local health and wellness experts. Chiropractors, accupuncturists, yoga instructors, nutritionists, functional medicine doctors, and other personal trainers are all in our line up to be guests on our show.
