Reason Number One Why Resistance Training Is A Must If You Are Over 40 – as you age past 40, your health no longer improves on its own without intervening. Resistance training makes sure that your muscles stay balanced so you don’t develop imbalances that create tight muscles and achy muscles.

2) Resistance Training Helps Improve Bone Density

The older you get, the less dense your bones can become and you can start to develop conditions like osteoporosis. By engaging is regular resistance training, this can diminish the likelihood that you develop osteoporosis as you age.
