Hey welcome back everybody to this week’s edition of 2-Minute Tuesdays. Now this week, we are giving you 12 rapid-fire top-notch exercise tips to make sure you can keep exercising through the holidays and enter 2021 feeling healthy and strong. Ready? Let’s get to it.

  1. Make sure you are weight training
  2. Focus on squeezing your muscles
  3. Move with control
  4. Utilize your active range of motion and make sure you aren’t flinging your weights to move you passively into through your range of motion
  5. Make sure you are including strength training for your feet
  6. Include All The Time Exercise by walking throughout the day for a minimum of three bouts of ten minutes
  7. Include Special Event Exercise such as going to the gym
  8. Schedule your exercise to make sure your special event exercise gets done a minimum of twice per week but preferably every day
  9. Include recovery days as many of the benefits from exercise happen as your body is recovering
  10. Use contraction as your mobility work instead of trying to stretch, lengthen, relax your muscles
