One of the most common questions we hear is, “How do I know I am working out correctly for my body?”

If you’ve ever felt that way, we have the cheat code to help you answer it once and for all.

First, let us start by saying that if you are part of the Exercise For Life Membership and using the four Exercise For Life Principles, you ARE doing the right things for your body when you workout.

Seriously. That is why we have taken so much time to carefully craft each of the workouts and programs within the Membership–to make sure they are delivered in a way that is right for you and your body.

But, if you have ever wondered about other ways of working out, different workout apps, or the fitness activities that you do throughout your week, here’s the question you need to ask yourself:

“Is my workout today setting me up to come back and workout again tomorrow?”

As long as you can keep answering YES to that question, you are working out in a way that is right for your body.

But, if the answer to that question becomes NO or I’M NOT SURE, it is time to stop, re-evaluate how you are exercising, and make the necessary corrections following our four Exercise For Life Principles.

Once you can get the answer to that question to be a definitive YES, then you can start playing with how intensely you are exercising, how long you are exercising for, and what exactly you are doing when you exercise.

But getting the answer to this question to be YES is the thing that will get you 80% or more of the results. The rest is just tweaking and fine tuning from there.

So ask yourself this question the next time you workout. As long as your answer is a YES, come back and do it again the next day. And then next. That is how you win this game long-term.
