The bicycle exercise is one of the most incorrectly performed exercises in many box gyms. While many gym-goers will perform this exercise fast with very little effect on their abs, there are some keys you need to stay on the lookout for in order to make sure this exercise is not only safe on your low back, but also gives you the results you want.
When doing this exercise to strengthen your abs, you need to be mindful of how far your legs are moving. If they start moving too far, you can put your low back at risk for injury and actually decrease the results you get for your abs.
