Wrist Position When Doing Biceps Curls

This month on Trainer Tip Tuesday we will be discussing considerations when you are performing biceps curls with dumbbells. Biceps curls are one of the most popular exercises both in the gym and at home, but there are some key details that are often overlooked.

One consideration when doing biceps curls is the position of your wrist. Will you be doing the curls with your palms up, palms in, palms down, or somewhere in between?

Varying your wrist position not only will emphasize your muscles differently, but it will also change the stresses across your wrists. This can be a make or break point for being able to do this exercise with minimal issues long-term.

Check out all of the details in https://youtu.be/4SN9yRg1wI0this week’s episode of Trainer Tip Tuesday, and be sure to tune back in next week as we discuss more considerations for doing biceps curls with dumbbells.
