Trainer Tip Tuesday

Where To Stop Your Motion When Doing Trunk Rotation

This month on Trainer Tip Tuesday we will be discussing considerations when you are using the trunk rotation machine. The trunk rotation machine can be one of the most effective ways to build the strength of your core muscles, but you don’t want to do it haphazardly.

One of the biggest issues we see when people use this machine is they are focused in on the wrong things. Many times people think they need to drive the motion with their legs, but the truth is your legs should just be going along for the ride. Instead, think about the area of your body you are wanting to target, which in this case is the obliques and other core muscles.

Not only can this tip help you prevent injuries to your low back and spine when doing trunk rotations, it can also improve the results you get when trying to strengthen your core muscles.

Check out all of the details in this week’s episode of Trainer Tip Tuesday, and be sure to tune back in next week as we discuss considerations for the trunk rotation machine.
