How To Make The Leg Press More Comfortable For Your Knees

This month on Trainer Tip Tuesday we will be discussing how to properly use the leg press machine and make sure you are being safe and effective while doing so. The leg press machine is one of the most effective tools for building the strength and function of your leg muscles, but you need to make sure that it is being used correctly in order to minimize potential risks. Today, we want to talk to you about how to make this exercise more comfortable for your knees.

A lot of people avoid using the leg press machine because it can feel stressful or painful on their knees. However, there is a secret cue that you can use to completely shift how this exercise feels.

Not only will this cue help to minimize the stress on your knees, it will also help you to build the strength and function of your hip muscles, specifically your glutes. It doesn’t take any extra time or effort on your part to use this cue, but the change in your experience and the improvement in results you get when you use this can be dramatic.

Check out all of the details in this week’s episode of Trainer Tip Tuesday, and be sure to tune back in next week as we discuss more considerations when using the leg press machine.
